How has Free Software been employed and received in schools at different places in the world?

How might these installations inspire others?

At October 13. 2008 we invite to a one day conference for users, teachers and school leaders who use or might want to use Free Software in schools. The conference will present the following issues:

The audience will mostly be from Norway, but speakers will be a broad international group. The conference language is English. It's also possible for users to participate at the developer gathering which are held in the preceding weekend.

Registered participants will take part in the drawing of one OLPC-mini-laptop! There will also be other surprises! The conference fee is 200 NOK (40 USD/ 25 EUR) for each participant, paying for lunch and coffee breaks. Paying happens at arrival, or contact Lars Risan, lars.risan at gmail.com.
